My concern is how "it's too hot" thinking can lead to weight gain, swollen ankles and/or a increase blood pressure. Therefore I submit...fight back! Try...
- drinking at least a liter of quality water first thing in the morning, before eating anything and while the temperature is still cool...(around 6-6:30A.M.)
- eat water-rich foods...such as watermelon, citrus, beets and spinach
- swim
- open the windows and dehumidify the air. I actually water-spritz the air throughout my house/ car. A very sensuous and exhilarating feeling to have the intermingling of water and hot air!
- close mini blinds during the time when the sun is highest in the sky around 12-4P.M.
- Above all, tune out negative HOT talk on the t.v., computer and radio! Opt out for cool jazz, snow-cap mountains movies. THINK COOL
- Reduce intake of salt, sugar and meats.
Now get out their and show hot and humid weather who is boss (LOL)
